Yard Sale Finds

Yard Sale Finds

The yard sale finds we usually come across are not only from the local newspaper but also from driving around. But unfortunately, we didn’t see many local garage or yard sale signs to go thrifting for treasures this past weekend.

Much of the time was spent on cleaning and photographing the ones we do have and getting them ready for listing. We were able to have some manly help in getting two of our heavy display cases to the new thrift shop on Saturday to ensure any upcoming stormy weather wouldn’t damage them. There’s already been a lot of hard work  put into the start of cleaning up the space and getting it store ready for displays and fixtures. Donations have already started coming in as well.

Now to share some of our vintage finds.

Vintage 1950′s-60′s Dritz Skirt Marker Wooden Measure Hemming Tool

Starting off with this Vintage 1950′s-60′s Dritz Skirt Marker Wooden Measure Hemming Tool. We just recently sold another type of Dritz Skirt Marker a couple weeks ago so I thought I would give this one a try. Dritz is the source for sewing notions and offers the widest selection and best quality for all your sewing, quilting, home decorating and craft projects! See it On Etsy!

Vintage 1970′s Ceramic Enesco Stacking Owl Tea for Two Set

Would you like a little more tea? This is an adorable vintage ceramic owl tea set from the 1970′s. The front of teapot says “TEA FOR TWO” and has an adult and baby owl peeking out. The top has an owl winking his/her eye. Cups feature an owl looking out a tree hole and the second cup shows the ‘other side’ of the owl, the back side of the tree. See it On Etsy!

I also came across this Groovy Partridge Family Novel which I haven’t listed yet but check back soon or is now On Etsy email us if you’re interested in purchasing it.

Vintage The Partridge Family # 10 Marked For Terror Book Thrilling Novel

There’s a few other odds and ends that we’ll be adding to our etsy store and of course our eBay store as well as searching for those great thrifty finds to add to the storefront. We hope to also share the progress of the storefront and grand opening event a little later in the month. We are still seeking out donations and any display or fixture items to use.

If you come across anything you like on the Etsy shop or in this post, send us an e-mail or comment in the comment section below.  We do offer local pick up and can combine shipping on multiple items.

Stay tuned for more great treasures…..

Can’t wait to see what yard sale finds you found this week. Have a good week!

It’s pretty cute! I love how it’s made to display side by side with the cups or you can stack them.
